CASA for Kids is a non-profit organization that recruits, trains and supports community volunteers to advocate for the best interest of children in foster care.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers are making lifelong differences in children's lives across downstate Illinois.
CASA for Kids' service area includes Clay, Clinton, Edwards, Effingham, Fayette, Franklin, Hamilton, Jasper, Marion, Wayne and White Counties.
The impact of a CASA extends far beyond the children they advocate for.
It has a ripple effect, strengthening families, improving communities and ultimately creating a better society for us all. Every child who has the opportunity to grow up in a stable, loving environment is one step closer to breaking the generational cycle of abuse and neglect.

We all have a role to play in supporting children in foster care in our own communities.
In every county CASA for Kids serves; there are more children & youth in foster care than volunteer advocates available. This is where we can all play a role. Whether it's volunteering 5-10 hours a month to be a CASA, donating to support our mission or simply spreading the work about CASA, every bit of support truly helps.
